Read what JB Hi-Fi Education team members have to say

“The STEP program was the best bridge between what I learned at uni and the real world of supporting schools. Spending two days a week with an experienced technician meant I could learn on the job, ask questions without feeling silly, and build confidence fast. By the time I stepped into my own schools, I felt calm and prepared to handle the day-to-day challenges.”

Riley, Specialist Technician

“I came in through the STEP program, and to this day I have not stopped learning. I still discover something new every day — whether it’s helping others, tackling a challenge, or building a new skill. The support has been incredible.”

Laura, Specialist Technician

“I've been with JB Hi-Fi Education for over fifteen years, starting as a local technician and advancing through multiple roles thanks to incredible mentorship and development opportunities. The team is collaborative and innovative, fostering an environment where ideas are valued.”

Jon, Roaming Specialist Technician

“I joined JB Hi-Fi Education in 2014 and have grown through multiple roles over time, from supporting schools to leading training initiatives. JB Hi-Fi Education has given me a clear pathway for growth and long-term career development.”
